Title:Why Set Boundaries With An Addict?

Hey Direct Impact Nation!

The betrayed partner set these rules to help control when they will become betrayed and deceived, but there’s more to you than this. These are attempts to manage betrayal and anxiety. Why do we set boundaries with an addict? The answer is to protect ourselves. We do not set boundaries to control or manage the addict but to ensure we protect our own sanity.
