Title: What Role Does My Safety Seeking Play?

Hey Direct Impact Nation!

Safety seeking can be defined as when we do not feel safe, we will have the tendency to seek out information in the hopes it will help create safety like looking through a partner’s phone or computer. If you have been betrayed, this is your moment to disconnect with your safety seeking behaviors. When trying to find control, this will only push your partner towards their addiction even more. These behaviors just play a destructive role in both the betrayed’s and addicted’s life.
